I have a challenge for you Danny! Your Chinese munch box was very much tailored to British tastes. All fried! My challenge is when you visit a take away that is not traditional, British, food, bring a friend from that culture and have THEM order the food. I would like to see you try something new, something that you are not comfortable eating because you don't know what it is. I'm sure there are people following you in the UK that would be happy to help you find a new, favorite, food! We've seen a lot of chips, peas and gravy and we already know they are good and satisfying. What else do take-aways serve in the UK that you and I don't know about?

To be honest on first impressions have to say it looks a right dive of a place not a place I would go to don't like the look of it. But not seen the food yet so might turn out to be really nice looks can be deceiving but for all you know there could be rats running around in the kitchen and cockroaches

damn man, its been near impossible to find duck near me the last few years. Growing up I had a real fancy asian cuisine restaurant near me, they had these massive banquet dinner reservation slots for holidays with limited capacity, whole duck was the main course with fixings to make wraps and everything else you could think of related to eating duck, then obviously they had a menu available for extras. Probably the closest thing to a proper feast I've ever experienced. We used to go there with family until they closed probably circa 2005. After college and all that when family holidays got scaled down a bit, I still made it a point to find a duck to eat at least for New Years, had a local Chinese place that offered it up until covid, then guess they cut duck off the menu for supply reasons. And another place I found fairly local did the same shit in 2022, offered duck that I purchased in 2021 and the next year it was gone. Most recently this past New Years I found another place pretty local that also offered duck, so I got it, but it was screwed. Straight up costed near 40 bucks and container had probably like 8 meager pieces of duck and the rest was all stupid ass vegetables not worth $40. Won't be getting it from there again. Guess now if I want to eat duck again I'm going to need to purchase an uncooked one and learn to cook duck myself.

Lousy Western carb chinese for western suckers eating all fried rice or chow mein ...this is not real chinesey??? only in England do you have chips mixed in everything. Oh Danny this is all the fatteningt stuff for the western sucker. Every shop serves the same! Course I am in Canada so what do you expect. We love the veg in Chinese.
